SoMA Students Featured in ARISE Philippines’ International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction

Asia Pacific College’s Multimedia Arts students from the School of Multimedia Arts (SoMA) have been recently featured in ARISE Philippines’ International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction last October 13, 2021.

The webinar “Working Together Beyond Borders”, which aims to discuss the impact of global cooperation and how businesses can be resilient from disasters, is organized by ARISE Philippines along with SM Supermalls in partnership with The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines.

SoMA’s Multimedia Arts students created a video for the webinar to further highlight the importance of protecting our environment and save our planet for the future generation.

The illustrators behind the video are: Carl Eric Villanueva, Cedric Justine Lim,. Frances Abengana, Ian Lawrence Jesalva, Jet Castano, Karl John Galica, Lorie Camille Camara, Paula Denise Tongol, Samantha Denise Torres, and Tomi Diano.

On the other hand, the editors are: Estrella Nadine de Luna, Marinelle Balenzuje, and Nicole Shella Grace Sy; SoMA faculty member Ryan Joseph Sy served as the project supervisor and worked on the Sound Design as well.
