Dave Tabi was the first speaker. He shared how he got introduced to the terrain of digital painting. He also discussed the intricacies of colors, lighting, and proportions while doing a live digital painting session. He also entertained the questions of students. Furthermore, he emphasized that one should never give up. He said that no matter what happens, a person should finish what he has started.

The next speaker was Ren Gomos. He is an alumnus of SoMA and a concept artist of Ubisoft Philippines, the country’s first AAA game studio. He shared his experiences of working with a team and talked about the importance of collaboration. He explained how a concept artist does his work while simultaneously creating a character through digital painting.

“Digital painting is a dynamic medium which can be done in different ways. Artists have their own techniques and processes."

In 2018, Christina Alpad mentioned in an online article of the Manila Times that digital art has become the new trend in the Philippines. APC is keeping up with the times by encouraging its students to actively merge artistry and innovation in order to produce world-class masterpieces.
