The Discipline Office coordinates well with guidance, safety and security offices in providing and maintaining discipline of students.
Disciplinary actions are corrective measures imposed upon by the College Administration on students, who have violated the rules and regulations of the school, as specified and contained in the College Student Handbook. The imposed sanctions should not be cruel or physically harmful in nature.
The college has a shared responsibility to shape the behavior of its students, to the proper ethical and moral character of a good citizen and person as required from a member of the community and the society as a whole.
The Disciplinary Action and the sanctions imposed on erring students are tools to compel students in keeping the norms of conduct as expected of members of the academic community whether on or off campus.
Disciplinary Due Process
It is the duty and responsibility of the school to impose disciplinary actions and the corresponding sanctions on students who are found to be violating rules and regulations as specified and contained in the college Student Handbook.
In carrying out its duty and responsibility, the school is tasked to provide due process to both violator and complainant, so as to ensure fairness and objectivity in the carrying out and imposing (implementing) of school policies. The student respondent is to be accorded all the opportunities to explain, contest and present evidence within reasonable time to answer the charges against his/her action and being a person.
