BS Industrial Design
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design (BSID) program has multidisciplinary approaches to the developing of contemporary millennials with graduate competencies that combine the eye for art in action and space, the sensitivity of technology to human function, and the ingenuity of engineering that drives solutions. It is about design engineering while, at the same time, being engineering by design. The program inspires action that makes the design “work hard for humanity.”
Graduates of BSID have technical and theoretical knowledge and skills for professional practice in the following fields:
- Consumer electronic product design
- Augmented or virtual reality systems
This program requires students to undergo internship within a multidisciplinary work environment, identify and study problems in the company or organization, analyze potential market needs, and apply best principles and practices in designing and/or developing products or solutions.
