An Asia Pacific College (APC) alumnus – Carlos Daniel B. Nerez is one of Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) Philippines' newest full pledged pilots from Batch 35.
Having completed his training recently, Carlos Daniel is a graduate of the School of Computing and Information Technologies in 2016 with a major in Mobile and Internet Technologies.
In an email exchange, Carlos said he has finished the first phase of his training as of March 2018. The training consists of three phases, the Private Pilot phase, the Commercial Pilot phase, and the Airbus A320 Type Rating phase.
Carlos continues to relate in his email saying “ I’m scheduled to have my first solo cross country flight (hopefully by summer 2018) during this initial phase. After that, I'll be receiving my Private Pilot License and need to earn at least 170 hours to finish the second phase of the training. The third phase of the training will be for the aircraft that I'm intended to fly. It's the type of aircraft we usually ride on when we're going to domestic or international flights. After that, I would've earned the distinction of being a First Officer Pilot.
Mr. Nerez had his former internship at Shopping Center Management Corp./SM Supermalls and Nestle Philippines.
Congratulations and thank you for making your Alma Mater proud!
