6th MOR Pinoy Music Awards Winner Ben&Ben graced the auditorium of Asia Pacific College with their charismatic presence through their outstanding performance and musicality last August 2, 2019. APC students and residents of Barangay Magallanes had a memorable night with the widely acclaimed and highly honored Filipino band.

Ben&Ben is composed of nine down-to-earth yet overly talented and world-class members, namely Miguel Benjamin Guico, Paolo Benjamin Guico, Poch Barretto, Jam Villanueva, Agnes Reoma, Patricia Lasaten, Toni Muñoz, Andrew de Pano, and Keifer Cabugao. One thing definitely sets them apart from other prominent bands in the Philippines. It’s their heart. People are stunned and mesmerized by their effortless singing and soothing music, but it’s how they spend time with their fans that makes them absolutely lovable. The rarity of having “reachable stars” makes Ben&Ben the perfect role models that young people can look up to. In the video below, Sarah Jael Cortez interprets Ben&Ben’s well-loved song titled “Kathang Isip” so that even the deaf community can enjoy their heartfelt music through Filipino Sign Language (FSL).

2019 has been dubbed as the Year of the Youth. Asia Pacific College wholeheartedly thanks its youth from the APC Chorale and APC strings for continuously honing their talents. The school also thanks Barangay Captain Jomar Alzona, an APC alumnus, and St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish for making the “Alay ng Barangay” event possible.
