SUMMARY: Delivers quality instruction to assigned classes by following the standards of teaching set by the College and by living its vision, mission and values to achieve its objective of producing lifelong learning students and graduates.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Teaches the assigned classes following the course syllabi and module of instruction to ensure consistency of instruction within the specified course;
   
   
2. Practices proper classroom management by implementing the teaching guidelines set by the College to achieve maximum student learning;
   
   
3. Provides feedback to students by following a grading system agreed upon by the department and understood by the students and using evaluation instruments, consultation, etc. to monitor student progress and to serve as basis for grading;
   
   
4. Participates in College activities such as departmental meetings, seminars, trainings and graduation ceremonies;
   
   
5. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Faculty to teach General Education subjects

- Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or any related course
- Must have at least one (1) year teaching experience in the tertiary level
- Willing to teach on full-time basis


Faculty to teach Engineering subjects

- Must be a Licensed Electronics Communication Engineer
- Preferably with Master’s degree in any Engineering program
- Must have at least three (3) years of industry experience
- Teaching experience in the tertiary level is an advantage
- Willing to teach on part-time basis


Faculty to teach Computer Science and Information Technology subjects

- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related course
- Master’s degree in the field of specialization is an advantage
- Certification on computer security is a PLUS
- Must have the knowledge and hands-on experience on the following:

• LAN/WAN
• Firewall
• Network
• System and database security
• ISO 17799/27001
• Audit

- Must be familiar with security standard, Telco, Windows and Linux security and anti-virus Willing to teach on a part-time basis
